Our Protect Animals & Planet collection wasn't created around trends or seasonal ideas. It grew from moments that stayed with us—animal rescues that made headlines, conservation efforts that continue every day, and stories that remind us how much compassion can change the lives of animals.
Some of these stories have happy endings.
Others are still being written.
Together, they inspired a collection built around hope, respect for wildlife, and the belief that every animal deserves the chance to live where it truly belongs.
Nearly 2,000 Beagles Finally Ran Free
One of the most unforgettable stories came from Wisconsin, where nearly 2,000 beagles were rescued from a breeding facility that supplied dogs for laboratory testing.
The rescue happened in stages. Around 1,500 dogs were safely transferred first, followed by the remaining 500. For many of them, it was the first time they had ever experienced grass beneath their paws, toys to play with, or the freedom to simply run.
That story inspired more than one design in our collection.
Free the Beagles celebrates the joy of freedom after years of confinement, while Let Beagles Be Beagles focuses on something wonderfully simple—the idea that every dog deserves the chance to run, sniff, explore, and simply be a beagle.
Rather than focusing only on what these animals endured, we wanted these designs to celebrate what came next: hope, second chances, and the people who made that rescue possible.
Protecting Wildlife Before It Needs Rescue
Not every design begins with a rescue.
Some are inspired by the hope that rescue will never become necessary.
Wild horses continue to roam some of America's most beautiful landscapes, yet many face ongoing threats from roundups and habitat loss. Orcas and dolphins still spend their lives in captivity, even though they were born to travel vast oceans. Sea turtles continue to struggle against plastic pollution that doesn't belong in their home.
These stories don't have one defining moment.
They're ongoing reminders that conservation is something people choose to support every single day.
That's why designs like Keep Wild Horses Wild, Born to Swim in the Ocean, Keep the Oceans Wild, Keep the Oceans Wild Dolphins, and Let's Keep the Ocean Clean all share the same message.

Speaking Up for Every Animal
Some causes can't be represented by a single species.
The design Respect All Animals – End Animal Testing brings together animals that have all been used in laboratory research, from beagles and rabbits to pigs, cats, mice, monkeys, fish, and other animals whose stories are often overlooked.
Rather than focusing on fear or sadness, the design imagines them together in a peaceful natural setting—the place where they all belong.
It's a simple reminder that compassion doesn't stop with one species.

When One Unexpected Rescue Inspires Thousands
Not every story is global.
Sometimes it's one small moment that reminds people why compassion matters.
The inspiration behind Raccoon River Rescue came from the widely shared story of two paddleboarders who rescued an exhausted raccoon stranded during severe flooding in Texas.
There were no dramatic speeches or carefully planned rescue missions—just two people who noticed an animal in trouble and decided to help.
That's exactly why the story resonated with so many people.
It showed how ordinary acts of kindness can leave a lasting impression.
Our design keeps that spirit alive with a little humor while celebrating the simple decision to stop and help when an animal needs it.
